A cycle of seven songs for soprano and orchestra, to poems by e. e. Cummings. It was awarded the 2008 ASCAP Rudolf Nissim Prize, and premiered in 2009 by the South Dakota Symphony Orchestra, under Delta David Gier, with Kathryn Wright as soloist. Performance here by Kathryn Wright and the London Symphony Orchestra, under my direction. Only portions of each song are included, since a commercial CD of my songs is now in preparation.
