A musical depiction of five scenes from Shakespeare's play. The movements are entitled "Prologue," "Capulets' Ball," "Love Scene," "Street Fight" and "Epilogue--Juliet's Tomb." Performances have included the Rochester Philharmonic, the Richmond Symphony, the Eastern Music Festival Philharmonia and the National Gallery Orchestra. This performance is by the strings of the London Symphony Orchestra under the composer's direction.
